Pico Accuardi Trunk Show
|
Please join us on Saturday, May 21st, from 10am - 2pm for a Trunk Show with local dyers Pico Accuardi Dyeworks (PAD)! They are bringing everything but the kitchen sink, and we'll have all kinds of demos going on.
PAD will be bringing several Cricket
looms and demo'ing how easy it is to weave a scarf with sock yarn (something we are particularly interested in, especially since we heard that you can make a scarf in ONE NIGHT!) You can even take a Cricket home with you, or, if we sell out of them, order one.
There will also be oodles of yarn and fiber and several Schacht spinning wheels and spindles on hand to try out and order to make them your very own. Deb isn't bringing her bunnies this time, but you will be able to fondle their fiber, in addition to a variety of other fiber samples.

The naming of the Booby
|
Well, here we are. Time to name the Booby. Twisted's resident Blue-footed Booby, that is. He/she has been hanging out, making friends, but has had no name. It's time, people! We created a poll on our Facebook page,
so hop on over there and vote (and, if you haven't "liked" us on FB, this would be a great time to do so!)
How did we arrive at the 4 final names? We asked for submissions a few weeks ago, the Twistedistas voted on their favorites, we listed the top 4, and here we are. Now, the final decision is up to you all!
The contributor of the winning name will receive a Lantern Moon crocheted cake key chain to celebrate with as well as a copy of the ‘Feathers‘ pattern by Chris de Longpre (Knitting at Knoon Designs
) to knit up your very own Booby.
